Faultlines: 40 Years of Highland Touring Theatre

A retrospective of 40 years of touring theatre in the Highlands, presenting a series of interviews and an audio-visual installation, the goal of Faultlines is to celebrate touring productions and new writing that has come from the north of Scotland since the 1980s. Faultlines preserves and investigates plays from the Highland’s past and re-evaluates their wider place in Scottish theatre history, communicating the craft and experience that comes from rural touring.

This research project has been supported by the Scottish Society of Playwrights as part of the SSP@50 Project and was produced in partnership with Eden Court Theatre.
